The Wantage Cricket Club charity event for the childrens Cancer ward at the John Radcliffe hospital was a great fun day for a very worthy cause. Ace Faces - Oxfordshire donating £1 for every face painting to the very worthy cause.

Ace Faces will be donating to Cancer Research

Ace Faces will be donating to the (Making It 4 Maisie charity) and will be painting faces at Millets Farm

Maisie is a 16 year old local girl who was diagnosed with "Wilms" tumour in 2009. Both tumour and the kidney were removed and Maisie was treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

In 2011 Maisie relasped, a tumor was found in her right lung, again Maisie under went surgery and was aggressively treated with chemotherapy.  In March this year Maisie was told she had relapsed for the third time. No further treatment will be given at the moment and Maisie will be monitored closely.

The awsome thing about Maisie is the charity work she has been involved in through out these last few years, being a part of raising thousands for CLIC Sargent (a charity which supports children with cancer and their families).

Date now confirmed: 22nd July 2014 :-  If you can come along with your little ones for a fun day out at Millets Farm and support the charity by having a face paint it would be greatly appricated.
